15 cases of coronavirus infection confirmed in Latvia

In Latvia, 15 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have been confirmed. This is reported by the LSM portal with reference to its sources. According to journalists, one of the schoolchildren was sent to quarantine. In order to prevent the spread of the virus, the Latvian educational system is ready to switch to remote education, which can last from two to four weeks, said the Minister of Education of the country Ilze Schuplinska. At the same time, the official admitted that when moving to remote education one of the parents of pupils of junior and preparatory classes will also have to stay at home. It is noted that in social networks users criticize the authorities of Latvia for disseminating information about the virus COVID-19 exclusively in Latvian.
