Lithuanian Parliament Adopts Next Resolution against BelNPP


The Lithuanian Parliament today, May 5, adopted another resolution on the energy policy of the country, in which the government is urged to actively resist the Belarusian nuclear power plant project, the correspondent reports the news agency. In addition, the government is urged to actively seek support for the position on BelNPP among other NATO and EU countries. Recall, in Lithuania BelNPP is recognized as a threat to national security, and the Parliament at the legislative level prohibited Lithuania from purchasing electricity from BelNPP.
