The number of cases of COVID-19 in Iraq exceeded 30 thousand people

Over the past day, 1,646 new cases of new coronavirus infection have been identified in Iraq, the total number of cases reached 30,868 people, the country's Ministry of Health said on June 21. The number of deaths per day increased by 87 and amounts to 1,100 cases. At the same time, 13,935 patients recovered. One of the victims of the COVID-19 was the football legend of Iraq Ahmed Radhi, the athlete died after complications against the background of a confirmed new coronavirus infection. Recall that the number of people infected with coronavirus in Iraq remains one of the lowest rates in the region. So in neighboring Iran, 205 thousand cases have already been identified, in Saudi Arabia 157.6 thousand, 39.6 thousand cases in Kuwait, whose territory is several times smaller than Iraq.
