Kosovo head Hashim Thaci will go for interrogation in The Hague

The head of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, published an appeal to fellow citizens on his Facebook page on the evening of July 8, in which he announced that on Monday he would go to The Hague to testify to the Special Tribunal for Kosovo. Read the full text of Tachi's appeal: Dear citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, in the past two decades, many participants in the UCC (albeit. Kosovo Liberation Army) have faced international justice of UNMIK (UN administration in Kosovo), the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Eulex (EU legal mission in Kosovo) and justice of individual countries. Kosovo, as a victim, still cooperated with the justice system in investigating allegations of war crimes. In the past two years, many former associates have been sent to testify to the Specialized Chambers, both inside and outside the country. Dear citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, let me share with you the news that I will travel to The Hague on Monday to receive an invitation from the Special Prosecutor's Office to testify. As long as my associates and I meet with dignity and unity the accusations of international justice, I invite all of you to unite to cope with the challenges facing the country. Civil unity, inter-ethnic good-neighbourliness, institutional stability and trust in institutions are essential if Kosovo is to achieve the goal of becoming a member country of NATO, the European Union and maintaining eternal friendship with the United States of America. Thank you for your support! God bless Kosovo! HT Recall, on June 24, the former leader of the UChC Thaci and his associate and successor as head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, was charged with the murder of more than a hundred people, war crimes, torture and the removal of political rivals.
